You know, there's this saying that "there's love in sharing" but i must say, "there's joy in giving too" especially when u are doing it for your loved ones....so here it goes
My Oluwaseun and i have been planning this weekend long before it came but we where believing in God to provide and he did *waving*, God is just so good, you know why? cos he watched out to and from to seun's mama's house. so on Saturday after work, on our way there, seun's younger sister told him to help her get a purple shirt for her friend too, so we went mini shopping for that, with plenty load in my hand o, i wanted to cry i swear and burst out at seun but when i think about all that love inside of him that he has just for me alone, i just do as he says cos he is the best, i must tell u and he deserves it *nodding head*
So we sha got the shirt and off we were to oke aro but we ate on our way at a mama-put cos hunger by then was my middle name. na so we start to dey gooooooooooo (omo the place far ehn *deep ibo accent* e come be like sey we dey go heaven...lol) by the time we got to mama's place i was tired as a camel walking in the dessert for 41days, i just ate (cos she prepared amala for us *tongue out*), i ate and went to sleep like a log of wood ( but i was told i walked funny to the bed, can't remember though...lol).
Next morning we were up and our darling last-born that needs purple shirt to sing in the choir*wink* had cooked rice, so as u know na, me i brush my fine teeth and sit down with the food, but seun, he likes wuruwuru to the answer, i had to beg him to and brush before chopping, that man is just too special..lol
We got ready for church, took some pix, and off we went, but we didn't stay till they finished (dem sabi preach till thy kingdom come for that church) so we left to be on our way back to mainland....mama was very happy with the things we bought for her o, very happy, i could see it in her face, so she escorted us to where we will get transport, said our goodbyes and off we went, but my baby and i had plans to branch at TFC for our monthly date out, so we did, had a great time eavesdropping on guy conversing boastfully with a girl he is tryna catch trips with *smh guys sha* but not my eS *tongue out* and on my ay out, as a good girl that i am, i tipped the security man *wink* for opening the door for me and my boo, on our way we decided to do small shopping for ourselves, got me some nice tops and my man got some work trousers for himself, and we were all smiles jisting and laughing on the road, we even got some films sef (we never watch anyone till today o....lol)
When we got home, i had only one thing in my mind to do (not to sleep o) but to hug my one and only, i too love that man, when he needs to be mature in some situations, he never disappoints, when i need him to be childish with me, he goes extra mile. Sometimes i wonder why he loves me so much cos me i sabi para well for work (just saying o...lol) and u know his reply? he said "apart from the always busy and shouty shouty girl people see at work, deep down, i see a very peaceful, loving and quiet girl, and i'm lucky to have her as mine *blushing*... sometimes he brings love struck tears to my face, other times i look at him and i wonder "how did i get so lucky?" so as good girl that i am, i topped the icing on his cake for the day *wink*
What am i trying to achieve in this write up? it's that "the little things we do for our loved ones or strangers that brings smiles to their faces also affects us too positively", it brings about bonding between we and our loved ones, smile on everybody's face,. To the aged mama you are trying to take care of, to the young security man making sure you notice him on your way out, and even to ourselves doing the good deed, happiness is essential for our everyday, cos if you are happy, you will look younger and stronger.
