Always a loner,

Sitting by herself with a book.
Some people stop to take a look,
At the lonesome girl who doesn't give a hoot.
At times when you take a glance,
Many meanings you can read in an instant.
Most times she's far far away,
Mind and soul, but her body remains.
Other times, a glance catches her attention,
Then she looks your way to see your expression.
Sitting by her lonesome self with very little or no friends,
She wishes to join in on the laughter she hears from far end.
Sitting by her lonesome self, she ponders on tomorrow,
Hoping it will not be filled with today's much sorrow.
Sitting by her lonesome self, she dreams for a lot of things,
To come her way so as to start a new beginning.
Always a loner with just herself to talk to.
She craves for a love so deep, sincere and true.
Always a loner from a young age,
She wonders on how life will turn out in later days,
When she probably would no longer be sitting by her lonesome self
